Dinner at famous Harry Caray's restaurant

Alexandria Mills and Miss World Africa Emma Wareus are in Chicago for the 2011 Variety World Conference, in support of Variety, The Children's Charity and its International President and Chairman of Miss World Julia Morley. The Conference runs throughout the week, building up to the Humanitarian Awards evening on Sunday night, where the Chicago Cubs will be honoured for their charity work.

Soon after arriving into town, Alexandria and Emma dined at Chicago's famous Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse, named for the renowned baseball broadcaster. The restaurant has been a Chicago landmark since 1987 and famous guests have included President Barack Obama, actress Cameron Diaz, and TV host Jerry Springer. Harry Caray himself became a sports icon, working in baseball broadcasting for 57 years, and was well-known for his announcements for the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field Stadium, popularising the singing of 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' during the game. And Miss World Alexandria Mills will be having the honour of singing this song at the stadium in front of hundreds of people when the Cubs play today. She will be joined in her performance by two children who have benefitted from Variety donations and the Chicago Cubs Care program.
